In order to expand our team and ensure cost optimization in the area of Global Sourcing - Metals/Plastic/Assembling, we are looking for a motivated operational buyer at junior/senior level. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for all operative agendas for the Metals/Plastic/Assembling product category. Your main tasks will include, above all, the independent execution of the entire procurement process as well as purchasing and inventory control. - Independent execution of operational purchasing activities (demand planning, request for and review of quotations, order processing, delivery date tracking)
- Negotiating series-based business (quantities, prices, deadlines, delivery times)
- Inventory optimization and control as well as ongoing process improvement
- Material creation, invoice control and master data maintenance
- Contact person for suppliers as well as close cooperation with strategic purchasing and the specialist departments
- Claims management as well as support for commercial deviations
- Evaluation of reports and assortment analyses as well as inventory control
- Completed commercial-technical training (Austrian HAK, HTL or university/college)
- Entry-level employees or ideally (initial) professional experience in international purchasing
- Market knowledge and experience in the field of Metals/Plastic/Assembling is an advantage
- Confident handling of MS Office applications, experience with SAP module MM desired
- Very good German and English skills
- Team-oriented personality with strong negotiation skills
- You have a hands-on mentality and enjoy a varied job with a high degree of personal responsibility
